DESCRIPTION
Castrol Techniclean MP Flex is a versatile, water-based alkaline industrial cleaner with a very alkaline pH (12.0 to 12.6 in a 3% solution). It contains biodegradable surfactants and corrosion inhibitors, and is free of nitrites and phosphates (it does contain silicates, however). It allows cleaning of central machine tool systems and helps flush out any type of soluble lubricant. It is also designed for general cleaning of machine tools and the workshop (floors, walls and other hard surfaces). The use concentration varies by application: about 4% for central system cleaning, 1 to 5% for automatic floor scrubbers, 2 to 10% for immersion, and 1 to 4% for spraying.
Unlike Techniclean MP 2, designed for precision cleaning of sensitive metals such as aluminum alloys, MP Flex is a more robust cleaner, suited to ferrous metals and capable of removing heavier soils (neat oils, greases, wax).
