The MELFA ASSISTA is the collaborative robot in the Mitsubishi Electric MELFA lineup. With 6 axes, a 5 kg payload and a 910 mm reach, it integrates directly into your existing workstations without modifying your layout, installing a cage, or creating an exclusion zone.
Safety built in, not bolted on
The “AS” suffix designates the collaborative version (ASSISTA). Collision monitoring, force detection and full compliance with ISO 10218-1 and ISO/TS 15066 are handled directly inside the CR800-D controller, with no external safety PLC required thanks to MELFA Safe Plus.
Industrial-grade precision
With a repeatability of ±0.03 mm and a maximum composite speed of 1,000 mm/s in high-speed mode, the ASSISTA is not a demonstration cobot, it is a production robot. It delivers the precision of a standard articulated robot in a collaborative format.
Programming without robotics expertise
RT VisualBox software enables visual programming through direct hand guidance. Move the arm, record the positions, done. Integrated control buttons on the arm and LED status indicators replace the traditional teach pendant. No specialized robotics training required.

Food-grade version (RV-5AS-D-S01)
The S01 version uses NSF H1 certified grease in all joints and gears, enabling use in food and beverage and pharmaceutical environments under the strictest hygiene standards.
