DESCRIPTION
The Renishaw OMM optical receiver is used in conjunction with the MI12 interface, which processes signals between one or two optical transmitters (OMMs) and the CNC control. It represents a flexible solution for a wide variety of machines. The OMM unit includes an optical receiver that communicates with a probe mounted on the spindle or turret. The probe trigger and control signals are processed by the MI12 interface, sold separately.
