Renishaw’s AGILITY S CMM has been designed to operate directly on the shop floor, where your CNC machines are located. No need for an air-conditioned room or to move your parts to a laboratory: measurement results are available at the point of manufacture, enabling you to correct a drift in real time and maintain your production rate.
At the heart of the machine, REVO’s 5-axis measurement technology reduces cycle times by 15% to 50% compared with a conventional 3-axis system. On a single machine, you can perform dimensional inspection, surface finish and non-contact measurement in a single pass – without changing equipment or moving the part. Two working volumes are available, depending on the size of your parts: 700 × 900 × 600 mm for small to medium-sized parts, and up to 1600 × 2400 × 1200 mm for large parts.
The granite and anodized aluminum structure withstands the vibrations and contaminants of the workshop. Compatible with Renishaw Central, the AGILITY S can automatically send offset correctors to your CNC machine tools as soon as a drift is detected – closed-loop process control, without operator intervention.
