Precision and durability in the most demanding machining environments.
The RV-13FRLM-D is the long-reach, oil-mist resistant articulated robot in the Mitsubishi Electric MELFA FR lineup. With a 13 kg payload, 1,388 mm reach, and IP67 certification, it is built to operate reliably in environments exposed to cutting fluids, oil mist, and the contaminants typical of CNC machining cells.
Oil-Mist Resistance
The “M” suffix designates the oil-mist resistant version. This protection allows the robot to operate directly in wet machining environments without premature degradation of internal components, reducing long-term maintenance costs.
IP67 certified
IP67 certification ensures full protection against cutting fluid spray and temporary immersion. The RV-13FRLM-D can be cleaned with a water jet without special precautions, simplifying cell maintenance procedures.
Integrated CR800-D Standalone Controller
The “D” suffix designates the CR800-D controller, a standalone solution that requires no external PLC to operate. This compact controller simplifies cell architecture and reduces the space required in the electrical cabinet.
1,388 mm Long Reach
Its 1,388 mm reach allows the robot to access the inside of machine tools, cover wide work zones, or service multiple stations from a single installation point.
Mitsubishi Electric FA Connectivity
Compatible with MELSEC PLCs and M8-series CNCs. Programming can be performed directly from the CNC HMI via Direct Robot Control (DRC).
MELFA Smart Plus
Optional intelligent performance monitoring, predictive maintenance, and data collection for Industry 4.0 analysis.
